What happened when we used it
The Verdict
Tested 30 days. Verdict: sixty seconds, no batteries, and the one thing everyone actually kept doing.
In our testing it did
- Sixty seconds of dry brushing left skin pink, warm and awake — the nicest part of both our mornings
- It was the most-used product in the test, purely because it takes a minute and feels good
- Our sensitive-skin tester used it every other day with no redness beyond the first few minutes
Does NOT
- Medically “drain” anything — the name is marketing, the tool is a soft brush
- Replace cleansing or exfoliating
- Change the shape of your face — puffiness looked a little less by mid-morning, that is all we will claim
These are cosmetic tools. Everything above is what we observed in our own use — not a medical claim, not a promise of results.
Who it's for
What it's for
A soft dry brush you sweep over your face for a minute in the morning. No batteries, no app, no gel. It’s the lowest-effort product we tested, and the one that got used the most — mostly because it takes 60 seconds and feels nice.
Cosmetic tool. It doesn’t “drain” anything medically, and we don’t claim it does. What it did in our routine is below.
How we use it
- Dry face, dry brush, morning. Before washing, not after.
- Light strokes from the centre of your face outward and down toward the neck. About a minute. If you can see pressure marks, you are pressing too hard.
- Tap the bristles out and leave it somewhere it can dry. We washed it once a week with a drop of shampoo; it takes most of a day to dry.
The honest bit about price
Why $29 when Amazon has them cheaper
Similar bamboo-fibre face brushes on Amazon go for $8–$15. Ours is $29. Honestly, this is the smallest gap on the site: you are paying $15–$20 for the 30-day test, free 2–5 day shipping from a US supplier, a real refund policy, and a bristle we actually checked on sensitive skin. If that is not worth it to you, no hard feelings.
Nothing is perfect
What we didn't love
It sheds a little the first week. A few white bristles on the sink each morning, then it settles.
It takes most of a day to dry after you wash it, so wash it in the morning and hang it by the loop.
The name over-promises. It is a very good soft face brush. Call it that.
