What happened when we used it

The Verdict

Tested ✓ 30 days · 2 testers · See what didn't make it

Tested 30 days. Verdict: the easiest one to stick with — the glow is real, the skin changes are subtle.

In our testing it did

  • Both testers were still using it after day 30 — ten minutes on the couch is a habit you actually keep
  • Skin looked calmer and a little more even by week three in our own photos; subtle, not a transformation
  • It became the wind-down cue: mask on, phone down, and both of us were asleep earlier on mask nights

Does NOT

  • Treat, cure, or diagnose anything — it's a cosmetic device
  • Replace sunscreen, sleep, or a dermatologist
  • Erase lines or acne in a month — nothing like the TikTok before-and-afters happened to either of us
How we use it, in the routine that got it through the test.

These are cosmetic tools. Everything above is what we observed in our own use — not a medical claim, not a promise of results.

Who it's for

What it's for

For anyone who has watched the LED mask videos and wondered whether people actually keep wearing the thing after week one. It’s a hands-free, 10-minutes-on-the-couch tool. In our testing it was the easiest product to stick with — and the one we had the most opinions about.

It is a cosmetic device. It does not treat anything, and we don’t claim it does. What it did and didn’t do in our own 30 days is written below, including the annoying bits.

How we use it

  1. Clean, dry face. No serum under it — a bare face is what we used for the whole 30 days.
  2. Mask on, strap snug but not tight, 10 minutes. Evening, on the couch, because that is the only time anyone keeps a habit.
  3. Mask off, wipe the inside with a dry cloth, charge it about once a week — a full charge covered roughly six sessions for us.

The honest bit about price

Why $79 when Amazon has them cheaper

Here$79
Typical retail$129
You save$50

Similar wireless silicone LED masks on Amazon run about $35–$60. Ours is $79. Here is what the $20–$40 difference buys, with no adjectives:

  • We wore this exact mask for 30 days before we would sell it. The marketplace listing has a render and reviews from nobody you can name.
  • Free tracked shipping to any US address (this one takes 7–10 days — it comes from the supplier's warehouse, and we say so up front), and a real human to email if the box is late.
  • If it flops for you: 30 days, full refund, no forms, no restocking fee. Try that on a marketplace listing.
  • The “What we didn't love” section below. Nobody selling the $40 one will write that for you.

If none of that is worth it to you, buy the cheap one. Genuinely. We would rather you did that than resent this one.

Nothing is perfect

What we didn't love

The strap. Tighten it enough to stop the mask slipping when you lie back and it pinches behind the ears by minute eight. We ended up using it half-reclined instead.

The eye cutouts are small. You can see, but you will not comfortably watch a film through them. Podcast, not Netflix.

New-silicone smell for the first two or three sessions. It goes, but it is there.

Specs

  • Type: wireless, rechargeable silicone LED face mask (supplier listing)
  • Light: red LED array under flexible silicone; the listing also uses the term IPL — it is a light-therapy mask, not a hair-removal device
  • Colour we ship: pearl white
  • Fit: flexible silicone with eye, nose and mouth cutouts and an adjustable strap; one size
  • Session we used: 10 minutes, once a day
  • Charging: USB cable included; a charge lasted us about six sessions
  • In the box: mask, charging cable, manual
  • Ships from: supplier warehouse, tracked, typically 7–10 days to a US address

Questions people actually ask

How long is one session?
We did 10 minutes a day. That is the session length we recommend; there is no benefit we could see from going longer.
Does it hurt or heat up?
In our testing: no. It gets faintly warm on the inside after ten minutes, never hot. If anything feels uncomfortable, take it off — that is not part of the deal.
Can I wear it over skincare?
We tested it on a clean, bare face and that is what we recommend. Put products on after, not before.
Will it fix acne / wrinkles / [insert TikTok claim]?
We don't know and we won't pretend to. It is a cosmetic device. What we observed in 30 days is in The Verdict above, and it is deliberately not a medical claim.
What if I hate it?
Send it back within 30 days for a full refund. No forms, no restocking fee. Email us and we send instructions.
How long does shipping take?
7–10 days, tracked. The mask ships from the supplier's warehouse, not the US supplier our brush and device use. It is free, and the 30-day refund clock starts when it arrives.
